USES: This medication is an antihistamine which provides relief of seasonal and perennial allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose (rhinitis), itching eyes, and sneezing. It is also used for hives.

Zyrtec tablets, chewable tablets, and Children's Hives Relief syrup are approved for use in children as young as six years old. Children's Zyrtec Allergy syrup is approved for use in children age two years and older.
