Before taking Allegra, you should be familiar with Allegra warnings and precautions, especially if you are taking other medications or are pregnant (or may become pregnant). Nursing mothers should talk to their healthcare providers about additional precautions before taking Allegra, and people who are allergic to any of the ingredients in Allegra or fexofenadine should not take this drug at all.

Allegra is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and children 6 years of age and older. Symptoms treated effectively were sneezing, rhinorrhea, itchy nose/palate/throat, itchy/watery/red eyes.

Several side effects can occur with AllegraŽ (fexofenadine hydrochloride). Insomnia is an Allegra side effect that was reported in postmarketing experience. This means that even though studies did not indicate that insomnia was a possible side effect of Allegra, some healthcare providers have reported that they think Allegra may cause insomnia in some people.
